The property was clean & well maintained and the hosts Marino and Kensuki were truly helpful, friendly, informative and informed. The guesthouse was a great value, located just steps from lake Yamanakaka, the bus stop, near an onsen and several good restaurants. There was also a common area where there was free fresh coffee available in the morning, places to store food if you wished to cook for yourself, and a dining area where we met several travellers from many countries. They also rent bicycles for a reasonable 1,000 Yen/day.

Very helpful staff members, the waiters advised me on how to eat the Japanese meal. There is a nice area to stroll outside after a meal as well.

It was perfect for our stay. Even tough it rained the whole time we were able to rent out the bikes and cruise along the lake and make a good use of the hot bath afterwards. It is run by a family. The mom even cared to prepare me breakfast without fish and meat🙏.

Rakuyu gave us a very good experience in our Kawaguchiko stay. Our room had the best view of the lake, the cocktails were heavy enough to replace dinner! And the shuttle from hotel to Kawaguchiko station made our stay easier to navigate. The private onsen was also a great experience (with a small additional cost).

Very hospitable staff. Lots of parking. Location is very convenient with beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Meals were changed up each day throughout our 3 day stay which was much appreciated. Luggage delivery service available.

From the moment I got the keys to the room, I felt how luxurious this hotel is! The staff showed us the room, told us everything about our stay, and made tea for us, which felt like a mini ceremony, it was great! The view from the hotel roof is gorgeous with the foot bath onsen that makes it even better!! The private onsen is also very recommended if you want to go with your partner together with a romantic view :) The dinner was a real show and masterpiece, each day it was different, and it was a huge experience to us (although we don't eat much of the foods we got, we still tried them) It really felt like a 3 Michelin stars restaurant private dinner!) And lastly, there is a free shuttle to the kawaguchiko station, which was really good and we felt like VIPs on it! :)

We were lucky to arrive on a day when Fuji was visible. The room was amazing and spacious, and the view from the balcony of Fuji and lake Kawaguchi was incredible! The onsen is a must! Super clean and quiet and relaxing hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted us with an urgent matter we had. Will definitely stay here again!

The facility was very clean, the staff was kind, and the food was amazing. The staff especially went above and beyond helping me find the parking lot as well as carrying my bags! They also explained everything about our room very well. The location is perfect as it is a short drive to Oishi Park and FujiQ. It was especially nice that the facility had free parking. Overall, I can't wait to stay again!
