if you want to feel like a number, stay on the beach, pay more and have a totally ordinary experience, don't come here! If, however, you want to feel at home, pay the right amount, stay 25 seconds from the sea (literally counted), be treated with extreme kindness, hospitality, warmth, if you want to feel that your trip is true and genuine then you absolutely must come here. Thusara is an excellent host, her guesthouse will become your home, the breakfasts are delicious and if you can't tear yourself away from your computer or smartphone, the connection works very well. We had a very good time and if we return to Mirissa we will one hundred percent return to Thusara. 10/10

The owners of Peacock Villa were very friendly and helpful. The facilities at the hotel are very clean and well maintained. The grounds and the pool were beautiful. The hotel is situated in a quiet location but are only 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants and shops.

The breakfast was amazing, best what we had during our entire trip around Sri Lanka! We got an amazing room that definitely exceeded our expectations and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and called a doctor straight to the room when one of us was feeling sick. The doctor arrived within 20 minutes and the service was amazing. In general, this was an amazing experience and we can definitely recommend this hotel and their wonderful and kind staff members!

Everything was excellent: the view, the food, the local food, staff and amenities. We got the room on the last floor with spectacular sea view from our balcony. The was very cozy and we really enjoyed staying here. Getting sleep and walking up with sea waves sound! Hotel has its own pool and there are only 3 meters to the sea shore, where you can swim, snorkelling, dive, etc. This bay is also used by fisherman. It's very interesting to watch their colourful swarm fishing. Breakfasts were complete and delicious, also there some sea food restaurants nearby. I think this is the best place in Mirissa to stay, will recommend!
