Very very nicely designed cottages, lovely pool, lots of animals like monkeys and peacocks around to watch. Staff was extremely(!) nice and helpful, there are also free bicycles to use (the way to sigiriya rock is quite short, you will not need a motorized transport if you plan to go during daylight). Be sure to check out the owners brothers restaurant (sth restaurant) which is in walking distance to the cottage and will serve one of the best vegetable rice and curry there is. Strongly recommend a stay here.

beautiful country side. very delightful stay of two nights. we regret we couldn't stay more. room was clean and tidy. bed long enough and very comfy. green patio soriunded by jungle :-) royal breakfast! sooo delicious and plentiful. hosts very hospitable and nice.

The family were very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect for climbing Lions Rock and Pirduangala Rock. Breakfast is delicious and is served looking out onto the beautiful garden. It is very peaceful. The family were very accommodating and helped us decide what activities we would do in Sigiriya. They also dropped us to Pirduangala rock for the sunrise hike! We had a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend.

Everything about our stay was great. Staff were very kind and helpful. They organised many activities for us which were reasonably priced and excellent quality. Food was delicious and swimming pool was always clean. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Saman and his family were so so kind and caring. They made us feel so at home in their home. Samans mother is an amazing cook and just has the most amazing energy. She washed our clothes and all. Saman took us to a lovely spot nearby to watch the sunset too, it was so special. Saman and his family have been a huge highlight of our Sri Lanka stay

We slept in the newest house. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. Unfortunately we could not have breakfast outside due to bad weather so it was in the open kitchen of the owner. The owner is very sweet, helpful and the food is fantastic.

Quite an adventure! We stayed 2 nights in the wooden hut and loved the experience. Great breakfast and very nice host!

Great spacious room with comfy beds, great bathroom and beautiful balcony. The homestay has gorgeous plants and flowers and hammocks by the river. The staff were so friendly and lovely, even drove us to Lion’s Rock for no extra charge early in the morning! The food was delicious, they even went out of their way to accomodate for my gluten intolerance, giving me lots of eggs and curry and rice. We loved our stay here and so will you! Would come back again in a heartbeat. Thanks for such a lovely stay 💖
