The house is very well located - less than 10 min by walk to the main road to the lion s rock. Saman and his family are very nice kind and welcoming. the breakfast is hudge and delicious.

Beautiful rooms, new furnishings inside. The owner Dinusha is very kind, the staff is honest and good, Sunshine Villa really made Sigiriya a beautiful destination. They picked us up at Colombo airport and picked us up safely. In the evening they took us to see elephants at Minneriya National Park. They also had a night safari planned to see the night beauty of Sigiriya. Luckily for us, Sunshine Villa was the place to stay. We had a great experience. I recommend it 100%.

The breakfast was fantastic! So many lovely dishes were brought to the table: coconut roti with coconut sambal, fresh fruit, eggs, fresh juice, stuffed rice pancakes, hoppers. All delicious!

-owners are very nice, kind and helpfull, amazing food coked in house by the wife owner. The river near the house and if that you don’t pay attention, the monkeys will still your amazing juice served at the breakfast

Arrived after 20 hrs flight and 5 hr drive on my son's birthday to be greeted with a lovely garland and card (and personalized cake later). The food was unbelievable - each and every meal! Staff - everyone very thoughtful and kind. Rooms/ pool/ dining area: super nice! Small boutique style place that we'd highly recommend.
