The best place I have ever stayed! The entire experience oozed luxury. From start to finish, we were amazed. I LOVED this place! So beautiful in nature, surrounded by trees, plants and animals. The cenote is beautiful where you can swim. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast that is included is simple but nice! You are secluded from nearby places but they provide bikes which is nice to tour around. I really didn’t want to leave this magical place!!

We needed a table in our room so that we could work and staff quickly accommodated us. The hotel is close to great restaurants. We were able to rent bikes and fins from the hotel. The room had a coffee maker and small refrigerator. There is a tiny grocery store nearby that had a wonderful ice cream treat: pineapple blended in ice cream and frozen in the pineapple shell. Lovely cotton sheets on the bed and a good mattress.

The location is excellent to swim and snorkel. Right on beach with access to sea. Well worth it to get up early and snorkel with the turtles first thing before it gets too busy. Loved it. Staff helpful and friendly and organised onward transport for us. Restaurant on beach front with music was added bonus.

We loved staying here. It's just over an hour from Cancun airport but is a really quiet, relaxed place. I guess it helps that Puerto Aventuras is a secure resort with a security gate as the only entrance. The hotel is very clean and well organised. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day and we always had fresh towels and bottles of water left for us. We had breakfast included for a few days and it was also great, especially the buffet version at the weekend. They can make a cappuccino if you ask for it, otherwise you get regular filter coffee. We spent a lot of time at the pools and the beach and enjoyed the food and drinks available from the beach bar. The beach is fabulous, sheltered by the artificial barriers and very gently shelving out to sea. The snorkelling near the shore is ok, but is much better at the reef a couple of hundred metres out. There are lots of palm trees at the beach so plenty of shade if you want it. The loungers are free to use, just remember to pick up your beach towel each day at reception and return it later. The daybeds by the pool are also great for hanging out in. The nearby marina has a variety of restaurants so eating out is very easy. There are also a couple of bakeries/cafes just outside the hotel, which we enjoyed breakfast at a few times, and also a small supermarket just opposite the hotel which is great for getting snacks. There are also pharmacies dotted around in case you need them. The hotel can call taxis for you if you want to go anywhere. They arrive quickly. We went to Xcaret which took around 20 minutes and cost 400 MXN for the four of us, then about the same for the trip back after the evening show.
