The gardener of this property should be highly commended. Pure heaven just relaxing in garden hammocks, listening to birds, watching geckos. Also appreciated swinging egg chairs on the rooftop. Room was lovely! Thank you so much for the swan-shaped towel. So, so beautiful! Complimentary breakfast was great. Highly recommend Hotel Azul 36!

Everything went very well, the staff was absolutely amazing and very kind. The location and facilities were exceptional. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Lamat, which is now our favorite hotel in Mexico !

Amazing location, right on the lagoon. Perfect for sunrise. There is no kitchen but you can cook on the fire (if you manage to light it), we grilled tortillas on it and people were baking potatoes in aluminium paper. I had read in the comments that showers were not clean but they were when we were there - of course not perfectly clean, but that's a camping)

This place reminded me of a meditation retreat i used to go to called vipassana in California. The beauty of the water is impressive. the staff are kind and friendly. The place has a peaceful vibe to it. I can tell they have paid a lot of attention to small details to make this place look beautiful. It is truly quiet, which is a gem to me where most places are playing loud music.

Situated in central Chetumal, Hotel Los Cocos is a modern-style property that offers a gift and art craft shop, plus free Wi-Fi.

We felt welcome and at home from the moment we stepped into the hotel. The receptionist that was checking us in had great tips, helped us with our tour and recommended us what spots are best to swim and eat. The room was clean and big enough for two and the breakfast was big enough to get you through the first part of the day. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Bacalar.
