Great characterful hotel in a lovely town. Really helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast and a really good restaurant for evening meals. Good off road parking. Location very good and avoids the narrow cobbled streets. Really enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was good, with enough options for vegetarians, and people with diabetes. Room was clean as it supposed to be in hotel. Hotel looks a bit old, but with spa package it is good deal, for the price. I think it was 63 for hotel room, or 75 for room with spa package for 2 ppl. So it is worth to take this package since spa cost is 12-15 eur per person.

Next to the Minho River, this former monastery and mansion now offers boutique accommodation. Hotel Convento dos Capuchos includes a spa, pool and a tennis court.

Casa da Capela indeed exceeded my expectations! It is a wonderful space, spacious room, very nice garden and there are common areas such as kitchen (very well equipped), living room, barbecue and snooker room. Being allowed to bring our dog was also a very big plus, they can sleep in the room with us and there is a feeder available for water and food. The weather was not good enough to use the pool, but we will come back in the summertime for sure!

Situated in the Norte Region in Caminho de Santiago Route, 29 km from Vigo, Quinta do Caminho boasts an on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site.

Great location, centre of town with nice view of battlements and towards Tui. Quite, clean with comfortable bed, smallish shower but ok. Window in bathroom. Good value place to stay.

The hotel manager went out of his way to help us, even giving us a lift to the bus station in the morning so that we could get to Porto and start our camino. We were also allowed to leave our car in the hotel carpark while we were walking. Superb service! The breakfast was good, with a wide range of cold foods

Located in the center of Valença, Hotel Lara is an excellent base for exploring this historic town. It features modern rooms with balconies and a breakfast room overlooking the fortress.

Well, the location is perfect, right on the Camino route and across the road from the historic, mediaeval fort/ walled city. The reception staff were so helpful and friendly, offering restaurant advice and even printing something I needed. The room was very spacious, with a balcony and a wonderful bath to soak in( lovely toiletries provided too). The buffet breakfast was the best so far, with a wide range of hot and cold food choices. A very busy hotel, but obviously because it is so good.
