Great location, centre of town with nice view of battlements and towards Tui. Quite, clean with comfortable bed, smallish shower but ok. Window in bathroom. Good value place to stay.

Well, the location is perfect, right on the Camino route and across the road from the historic, mediaeval fort/ walled city. The reception staff were so helpful and friendly, offering restaurant advice and even printing something I needed. The room was very spacious, with a balcony and a wonderful bath to soak in( lovely toiletries provided too). The buffet breakfast was the best so far, with a wide range of hot and cold food choices. A very busy hotel, but obviously because it is so good.

Scenic views over the River Minho and Spain can be admired from this fortified area of Valença. Surrounded by historic village walls, this peaceful hotel has a panoramic bar.

Perfect peace and wonderful views. Many art installations in the grounds and a very interesting museum. The hosts are very friendly, and explained the development of the convento from a ruin to the lovely building today.
