Lovely historic hotel that has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean and tidy. Well located in the heart of the city, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. When there was a problem with the AC, they immediately moved me to another room. While the usual big city precautions apply, this is a safe city to walk around both day and night. I was here on my own for five nights and never had any issues.

It was a very pleasant stay, the hotel was lovely and quiet. Every staff member was professional and courteous. Breakfast was monstrous with a wonderful range of options. The pool was nice too, even though the weather wasn't pool-friendly. The hotel's location makes it easy to explore the centro.

tremendous breakfast, great location for downtown, walked everywhere, it has a lovely faded glory and huge rooms - great value for money
