Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. The lication eas great. Close to supermarket and lots of restaurants. Will be telling my travel agent about it as l changed her selection to Motel One and so pleased i did.

The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. The staff, location, room basically everything about the stay was excellent! Really close to the Christmas Market, restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfy and the room was fairly quiet too.

I had one of the corner rooms, 206. Was really spacious and comfortable. Breakfast I rated as good. Love the fresh orange juice, the quality of the bread and pastries. As a vegetarian I missed some options, to replace the cold cuts and some fresh vegetables would have been nice.

Just 150 metres from Basel Main Train Station and the airport shuttle bus and only 10 minutes' ride by public transport to Basel Messe convention centre, Metropol Hotel is a modern non-smoking hotel in the centre of Basel . Location was fantastic--just across from the train station. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Room was clean and comfortable. AND there was a bonus Metro pass which was super handy!
