The gourmet restaurant is closed in Ascona in winter, but is open in the Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa during the winter season. The location was perfect right on the waters edge. The room was huge and had a small balcony which was very nice to sit out on.

This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!
