WOW. Over the past year I have been to 10 five star hotels at least, and they were nothing compared to the Dolder. The Dolder Grand is something else, something above five start, something truly unique that I wished I had experienced earlier. My suite was absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning view over the lake of Zurich. Everything in the room was clean, tidy, luxurious. The SPA was one of the best I have ever tried, beautiful and calm indoor pool, with an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking Zurich. The staff and the concierge were all super helpful, super kind and really made me feel special and welcomed during my entire stay. Finally I want to make a special mention for the food....the Saltz Restaurant was extremely good but what has totally surprised me was the breakfast. HANDS DOWN THE BEST BREAKFAST ON PLANET EARTH. Super happy of my stay, as I visit Zurich few times a year, I will make sure to stay at Dolder next time I come in few months. See you soon:)

The reception staff specifically Eugeen. This young man bent over backwards to help us with directions, even walking outside to show us which to go. He also took care of my wife who's hair had issues with the conditioner provided by the hotel. Instead of simply saying that's all we have, he made a phone call and there was different conditioner in our room when we returned to the hotel that same day. That conditioner was wonderful. He also had a room set up special for our anniversary. Cannot say enough good about Eugene. Only problem lies in that there are not enough Acasa hotels so when we visit other countries we cannot enjoy the same class of service and wonderful breakfast. They gave me a free upgrade of the room- very much appreciated. The hotel has a good position, closed to the main train station and to clubs area. Very nice rooms with huge walk-in shower in the middle of the room. Good housekeeping

The Marktgasse Hotel is a historic building with low ceilings and sloped floors (not all rooms).

Everything. The staff was super nice and helpfull, the location is perfect, in the middle of old town with many shops, bars and restaurants just a few steps away. Public transport just around the corner, good connection with airport. The room is very clean with everything you need. Had a room without a window view, but that didn't bother me at all, not a problem for a short stay. Free coffee and tea at a cozy reception.
