The staff were friendly, outgoing and helpful throughout our stay, the breakfast was exceptional, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Coming back to the room each day was something we looked forward to. Overall I would definitely recommend Hotel El Coloquio if you are staying in Valladolid.

The former monastery has 2 large cloisters, as well as gardens with a terrace, a breakfast lounge and meeting room. For an extra cost, there is a spa offering an indoor swimming pool, Turkish baths, contrast showers and a relaxation zone. The restaurant serves traditional dishes and offers a TV with Canal Plus channels. Wonderful stay all around! The room (102) was enormous, and the private terrace had stunning views over the hills north of the city. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, right in the old town and just a short stroll from the Plaza Mayor.
