This is a very special Parador. Its surroundings are spectacular. I will surely come back. The view is stunning, even though the visibility of the church is a sign of the severe drought in Spain. I had a great time, the personnel is very kind. Make sure to visit Monestir de Sant Pere de Casserres, which was one of the highlights of our trip.

The hotel is a historical gem. Old-fashoines and extremely well-preserved, this place takes you to some 100 years back- you will find yourself living in a museum. Still, the bed and bath are very comfortable and the place is run very nit.
The breakfast was remarkably tasty - all the products were of top quality,and the homemade pastry was simply wonderful.

The restaurant is great. Excellent food and wine for a reasonable price. Everything is gastronomic. The staff were very chilled out, efficient, friendly and helpful. The pool was a lovely way to relax after a day out. The village is also very nice with a number of architectural villas and nice food shops.

The hotel is as the pictures. Nice for a weekend away or for a stop if you are travelling.
It was not the romantic getaway I was expecting as, the pack I bought as dinner and breakfast, for dinner, it was buffet style also, with lots of families with children. So you just have to be aware if you were expecting a menu kind of dinner. Overall, I accept this fact, tried to sit away from little children (don’t take me wrong, I have 2 daughters, but that was MY romantic getaway with my husband, so …) and enjoyed the weekend anyway.
