Hotel Casa de Caldelas is een gerestaureerd 18e-eeuws gebouw in het historische dorp O Castro de Caldelas, op 45 km van Ourense. The hotel is more like a boutique hotel. All details are well taken care of. We were given an ample attic room, that was very comfortable, with all amenities well working. The room was crystal clear, breakfast is served in the bar nearby, and is quite good and fulfilling (with excellent home made bica). Easy parking around. There's a wonderful common area with sofa and armchairs at first floor, and paintings hanging from the walls are so artistic, we loved every moment of our stay. The staff is extremely welcoming, little English spoken though. Would recommend this hotel hands down.

This was the only place that put my luggin the room rather than leaving it in a pile in the lobby. Shows they are making an effort. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our host was fantastic at communicating, both before we arrived and during our stay. She went out of her way to explain where the nearest and best restaurants were (we do not speak Spanish, so she did a brilliant job!). The accommodation was rural so the scenery was beautiful. Breakfast included everything is should and more..the highlight being rich, dark honey for our bread and yoghurt!

Casa Grande and its garden breathes the peaceful vibes of its owner. Breakfast included home-made jams from the garden. Everything served in traditional crockery. We loved our short stay and would happily come again

Pazo Da Pena Manzaneda ligt in Manzaneda, in het wijngebied Riberia Sacra, in het Terra de Trives. Dit grote 16e-eeuwse statige huis heeft een grote tuin. Eigenlijk alles. En de kers op de taart was Claudia die ons een uitgebreide rondleiding gaf.

This was by far our favourite of all the places we stayed at on the Camino- it’s off the Camino path but they provide transport from and to the Camino trail; the hotel is family run, and the place is well kept, with large big rooms, the dinner and drink service superb Manuel and his mom and girlfriend were most hospitable, friendly, and helpful!
