It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

The price is incredibly low out of season and I appreciated the included kid's club. This is a mobile home and not a hotel but is nevertheless a good place to stay.

Guest rooms at Le Grand Large are brightly decorated with a contemporary design and feature a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Some rooms feature a seating area and offer a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is fantastic and the facilities are top notch. Our room was big, with a gigantic balcony with jacuzzi. The spa and rooftop are amazing and the location, almost direcly on a perfect beach, makes it an absolute best. The staff ended up making it a remarkable stay.

There is also an indoor spa area including a spa pool with massage jets, a sauna, a hammam and light therapy. Lovely setting, beautifully clean and exceptionally well run. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially Sophie on reception). The spa was lovely to use too.
