Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. Gorgeous property, we loved the real fires and the lovely atmosphere. The staff were helpful, our room was a good size and bed comfy, lots of hot water. The food was excellent. We stayed for a weekend in November and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend the Inn.

Guests can also request a morning newspaper or a fresh fruit basket. The room, the friendly greeting, and the eagerness to attend to my needs was the best I have witnessed in the UK. First king size bed I've seen anywhere in Europe! The restaurant also has the largest selection of champagnes and spirits I've seen outside of a Five Star property.

This renovated Victorian merchant's house, dating from 1889, is situated in Oxford, just 3 km from University of Oxford. This 12-room bed and breakfast feature on-site free car parking facilities and landscaped gardens. It is wonderful hotel,very beautiful,and the location is very convenient.

Oxford Riverside Glamping is situated within private grounds adjacent to the River Thames. Oxford University is 4.3 miles away with direct buses from outside the main gate. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing facilities- everything was clean, well kept, organised and brand new.

At the same time, the house is very clean and offers modern comfort Beautiful garden, quiet surroundings. Rooms are big in size, well equipped and very cosy. Extremely good breakfast. Very helpful and nice hosts!

For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. The Greyhound is a wonderful place with a lot of history and idiosyncracies. The accomodation is to a high standard but I would advise checking out the rooms before you book for size and also for function. Foodwise they have an interesting menu that changes frequently and everything was well cooked and delicious. What truly moves the bar upwards on the Greyhound is the staff - I don't think I have been in a place recently where the staff were as friendly and helpful.
