The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable, the rooms stylish and very comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. There was even a welcome note from the manager on arrival. The location, about 10 minutes' walk from the railway station and a couple into Abergavenny centre, can't be bettered. The bar was a lovely place for a drink. There's no restaurant, but you don't need one: sister hotel The Angel, in the centre, is the best place to eat in town. We will definitely return.

No need to get dressed and come down to breakfast here, as a beautiful boutique style Continental Breakfast is provided free of charge and is ready and waiting for you in the room of your choice and with only 6 rooms to choose from, it really is a case of: First come-first served. I really enjoyed my stay at Mirador, it made me feel at home. The room had everything needed and was very comfortable. The breakfast left in the fridge was of very good quality and variety. Communication with the host was excellent through messages, with suggestions of places to visit and how to get there, including the restaurant suggestion for dinner was great.
