With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. I loved this place! Great location, a few minutes walk from the port and super peaceful and quiet. The room was gorgeous with a great view. The housekeeper was absolutely lovely as was the owner. I will be back!

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. Everything is very nice and comfortable

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. Beautiful building, our room was small but bed comfy and bathroom lovely with decent shower and plenty of room to put everything. Very traditional. Breakfast was included and an excellent variety. Best scrambled eggs ever!! All staff very friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk to the port

Angelica’s romantic rooms retain a delightful note of old-fashioned charm and luxury. They are all air conditioned, and include satellite TV, safe and marbled bathroom with a complete set of Korres cosmetics. A beautiful family homestead converted into a hotel. It was traditional yet very comfortable! We had a great time! The balcony was great for the sunset and people watching with a glass of wine.

The traditionally built Achilleas Pension is located just 150 metres from Hydra Port and the rocky Spilia Beach. A flowery internal courtyard lies on site, while WiFi is offered in public areas. The rooftop terrace features unobstructed sea views. Owner manager on site to help us with our questions. They shared the laundry facilities with us and we hung our laundry on the roof to dry. About 6 blocks walk from the ferry terminal. Hard with heavy bags, but once we unloaded we appreciated being away from the harbor hub bub. And the cafes near Achilleus were wonderful, as were all the cafes we encountered in Hydra area. (3 days). Our room was probably s little bigger than others because ours was intended for up to three.

We fell in love with the island and this charming boutique hotel. The view from the bed in the Junior Suite was insanely beautiful. The staff, especially the hostesses, was very friendly and helpful (extra grateful for the recommendations and care of Dafni). The breakfast was fine! The mattresses are hard, we liked it, but it comes to preference.
