It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and homey, really enjoyed it!

A buffet breakfast enriched with local products is served daily. Free WiFi is provided. Such pretty rooms. We had a balcony room and I just loved waking up in the morning to the roosters and donkeys.. this is a beautiful hotel to stay

The main attractions of Hydra are within easy walking distance of this refined guest house. This was my second stay at the hotel and I loved it as much as my first. Hydra is magical and everyone at Mistral hotel makes the experience even more so. I loved the delicious breakfasts, the property is beautifully cozy and Jenny and Nico are always so kind and ready to help.

Decorated with respect to the local tradition, every room is fitted with a TV. Rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. Beautiful little place directly in the port with stunning views onto the harbour. Charming owner who has also been very helpful and available in case of any needs. A very useful social room with free coffee (few brewing types), tea, juices - all complimentary so very generous offer and appreciated. Room with balcony on top greatly recommended!

The traditionally built Achilleas Pension is located just 150 metres from Hydra Port and the rocky Spilia Beach. A flowery internal courtyard lies on site, while WiFi is offered in public areas. The rooftop terrace features unobstructed sea views. Owner manager on site to help us with our questions. They shared the laundry facilities with us and we hung our laundry on the roof to dry. About 6 blocks walk from the ferry terminal. Hard with heavy bags, but once we unloaded we appreciated being away from the harbor hub bub. And the cafes near Achilleus were wonderful, as were all the cafes we encountered in Hydra area. (3 days). Our room was probably s little bigger than others because ours was intended for up to three.

However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Avlaki Beach is less than 1 km away. Quiet and compact. Perfect for solo travel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
