It was one of the best places we ever stay, the owner was simply amazing, with her homemade treats every morning by the pool, the view was spectacular, clean, comfortable and quiet... the sound of silence!! I stayed here in 2020 and loved it — and nothing has changed in the meantime! The entire property is well-maintained and sparkling clean: you won’t find any chipped paint, dusty corners or anything not working. The hostess is a lovely lady who speaks Englush and French and really takes good care of her property. The room is full of light and equipped with fridge, aircon, hairdryer, hotel slippers, bathroom amenities. The overall design(the patterned blue tiles in the bathroom particularly) makes it a beautiful place to stay. Every room has a small terrace/balcony with chairs, table and a clothes line. The location at the port, literslly 150m from the ferry arrival spot makes it very convenient upon arrival/departure. The steps to the Chora begin a short walk away from the property. Nearby are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, souvenir shops, a bakery and a beach. I felt at home and hope to come back soon again!

Petra Holiday Village is a complex of 17 small villas amphitheatrically built on a hillside next to Ormos beach, with breathtaking views to the sea, Agia Eirini church and the Chora of Ios.

The hotel is at the best location to Mylopotas Beach, the service is excellent, the breakfast is perfect, the reataurant has great food. I have to mention our favourite part, the beachbar. We made great friendship there. The super service from Eleni and Kostas. Their heartmelting kindness made our holiday full of fun and happiness.
