It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

The Cabra Castle Hotel was built in 1760 and has high ceilings, grand staircases and historic hallways. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Clean and well maintained. All the preservation of the estate is exceptionally on point. Having the animals at the property just makes you out more do the walking trails, experience the wild.. just perfect The spa area is definitely just one of the best in all of Ireland!! The facilities are just stunning, and the heating pool outside with the views of nature.. amazing.. The bedrooms are super clean, a very large room and I had the balcony with a view of the sheep grazing.. supeeer The food menus from the room service to the bar or even the breakfast was really good as well, good portions and not expensive

You can enjoy home-cooked dishes in the restaurant, which also serves a Sunday carvery and features a lakeside terrace. The Sailor’s Bar and Lakeside Bar offer a cosy setting for a drink, along with lovely views. How friendly the staff were. Regan on reception and the other receptionist, were a joy to check in with. The concierge was such a gentleman. Fantastic service

Errigal Country House is deep in the heart of Cavan's Lake Country, which is ideal for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. The staff and the hotel rooms are great. As usual, if you rent a car it is great to be on the edge of a town/city. Free parking. Quiet area. Nice to walk around, etc.
