Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. The property is located in a lovely area. The room was furnished with character and care, and so the rest of the house (which is available for the guests to enjoy). The owners are delightful. Breakfast was great. Only stayed for one night, wished I had planned a longer stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B. We were welcomed by our lovely host and enjoyed an incredible Irish breakfast each morning. The view from our room was also magnificent!

Norman and his wife were fantastic hosts! The breakfast was divine (smoked salmon was an option) and the decor of the home was very soothing and beautiful. Great knowledge was offered about the area which was terrific and helpful. I hope to visit again!

The room was outstanding, spotless and great decor. The en-suite was obviously newly updated and exceeded expectations. The breakfast and the entire presentation was truly outstanding. Theresa made us feel right at home and gave us lots of ideas on where to visit. We would highly recommend staying here. Simply fantastic.
