Where to start?!:) Shimla is far from the Chandigarh airport and the road leading there is not the best but the destination is worth it. I will not compare it to the alps because India is unique but if you like to see stunning mountain views in a cozy setting this is the place to visit. Everything from the transfer pick-up experience by The Oberoi till the check-out, is exceptional. The staff went beyond the call of duty to make our stay memorable (Loki, Sahil, Kaushik, Shadab, Sanjay, Rajat… to name a few). Gorgeous property, fantastic views, outdoor heated pool (yes at freezing temperature), amazing food... Last but not least huge shout-out to Sunit, the GM. When the GM is consistently on the floor overlooking every single detail, you know you are well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Situated in Chaura Maidan, Shimla - 7000 feet up in the Himalayas, The Oberoi Cecil offers luxury accommodation along with an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and 3 dining options. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. They were also so kind. When I arrived I was very ill from the windy roads and jet lag and they helped me pay my cab and check in in my room so I could be comfortable and they brought me aid so I could hydrate and get comfortable.

Die Unterkunft Hotel Udechee Huts, McLeod Ganj hat einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, eine Terrasse und ein Restaurant in McLeod Ganj. The nature was phenomenal and the hotel seemlessly blended into it. This hotel was the best hotel on our indian trip. It is a family owned hotel and everybody is treated like family. Food is cooked fresh according to the guests wishes and they can accommodate allergies perfectly. Every staff member does excellent work! When we come again to Naddi, this will surely be the place we will stay.

Sitting at the foot of the north-west Himalayas, Radisson Hotel enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding cedar forests and mountains. It was lovely staying at the Radisson Jass Shimla, and I must say, the property is absolutely stunning! The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and courteous, making the entire experience even more memorable. A special shout-out to Rakesh & Sudiksha who checked us in. He was very professional, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable right from the start. The restaurant staff was also wonderful and ensured that all our needs were met. Gorgeous property, the excellent staff, or the wonderful food, everything about this place made for an unforgettable experience!
