Fabulous hotel. Spacious rooms, huge pool and wonderful staff. KLM forgot my suitcase in Amsterdam, and the concierge guys Benson and Abhinav were so helpful assisting trying to get it back and to the hotel. Easy to get into the city too, and mega convenient if you are traveling further.

The staff here are lovely, so welcoming and friendly. From the minute we arrived we felt that we were looked after and valued as guests. Our room was huge and very comfortable with all the amenities you could wish for. The bathroom was well equipped with plenty of very hot water. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a good range of both Indian and continental options, as well as great coffee. The pool area was lovely with plenty of space and comfortable sun loungers, and good sized clean and cool pool. I had been knocked off my bicycle by a motorcycle a few days before arriving and found this hotel a perfect place to relax and recuperate, so many of the staff looked out for me and enquired about my health it was touching. Its also a good spot to go site seeing from Palace, Zoo all in easy reach. We went out in the evenings to eat and have a beer there are a few good places within walking distance. Special thanks to Norton and Amol (who guarded our bicycles with his life) for their kindness and the reception and cleaning staff for their contribution to our stay.

The hotel is as advertised. Its a 4 star hotel in India and not everything is perfect, but for what it lacks in the quality of the rooms, it more then makes up with the polite and welcoming staff. I have travelled a lot and this has been by far the most pleasant experience when it comes to people working in the hotel. Everyone, from the restaurant to the cleaning staff, everyone is super nice and helpful. Restaurant has amazing food, masseuse is great quality, rarely you find something so good in the hotel. And I want to give a special thank you to Kanak, I am not sure what her role exactly was, but she was there in the reception helping visitors with anything you needed. Her genuine attention and care have made my stay in this hotel, the best hotel experiences so far. She is just a trainee and already way more professional than any hotel staff you find in luxury European hotels. If I am ever back in Udupi area, this is definitely the hotel I am staying at.
