We had booked a single night in a standard room at Hotel Damaso. When we arrived we were informed that the Hotel had upgraded us to the Penthouse-suite. What a pleasant surprise! The private terrace with a stunning view overlooking most of central Rome was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar is absolutely worth a visit, and the breakfast was also very good. No wonder this hotel has such good reviews. Our stay was phenomenal. 10/10!

We were together with my husband. It was great experience, everything was perfect, location of the hotel is very central, breakfast was really good, with good choice for Italy, staff was very polite and helpful, clean room and comfortable bed. We had a wonderful stay at this excellent B&B in a beautiful building in one of Rome's best neighbourhoods. Our room with ensuite bathroom, overlooking a courtyard, was quiet, very clean and even provided slippers. The breakfast buffet was generous and we loved the fact that we could indicate in advance which hot drinks and foods (croissants, omelettes et cetera) we liked to have. The nice man who ran the breakfast service on most days even offered us extra drinks on the spot. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting Rome and even for luxury shopping if that's what you're coming for. Another brilliant feature as that the stop where you can board the bus to Fiumicino Airport is very near, so no need to travel to the Termini Station first. The Residenza also offers a paid shuttle service to and from the airport.
