Room with tatami and dinner. Defintely have the dinner, it was probably the best meal I had in Japan during my 3 week travel.

Absolutely lovely place within an easy train ride to Kyoto. Very interesting building with lots of history and fantastic staff. The neighborhood was very interesting and quiet - for those looking to stay in Kyoto for the historical experience I recommend trying this place out - much easier on the budget :)
