We booked the room "Take", and it was so worth it having our own pool and other baths. Booked it with dinner and breakfast, and the dinner was one of the best we had on our trip to Japan. It was worth the splurge! Would come back again. We also got a present of two bottles of fine wine for free when we checked out. The hotel is also right beside the Beppu Hells.

The property has indoor and outdoor private onsens. Truly a relaxing experience being in an outdoor onsen, especially in the morning. There is a free coffee machine for espressos in the lobby available at certain hours. We booked with the breakfast and kaiseki dinner included. Everything was delicious and the staff are so on top of bringing out the next course. Lovely experience tucked away in a beautiful mountain setting. Highly recommend staying here!!
