AIBIYA ligt in Yamanouchi in de regio Nagano, op 4,1 km van het Jigokudani Monkey Park. Het biedt een barbecue en een skiopslag. The staff was very nice and we had very interesting conversations. They give very good advice on the area and the Onsen. The place is spotless clean, beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. For a fee, you have access to Onsen in neighboring hotels. The town of Yudanaka is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station. From there, you can take a bus to the Snow Monkey Park. Convenience store, bars and restaurants are all walking distance too. If you need to do laundry, be aware that you have to start it before 8pm (might be good to know if you're traveling around and didn't have time to do it before).

Bij Daymaruya Ryokan kunnen de gasten genieten van warmwaterbronbaden en traditionele accommodaties in Japanse stijl met gratis vast internet. Great place as advertised with family service. The breakfast is excellent. Quiet. Bus stop next to the accommodation: quite convenient to reach Shiga Kogen ski slopes. We hope to come back again!

Very nice place with parking close by if you drive there. Great staff, public bath available within the property. Everything was included: towels, bag, indoor and outdoor slippers, water bottles, tea

Aburaya Tousen offers luxurious contemporary Japanese-style accommodation with an amazing 11 types of hot-spring baths and free WiFi. We LOVED the onsen! The room and amenities were amazing. Highly recommend the breakfast which was great before going to see the snow monkeys.

Hotel Omodaka bevindt zich in Yamanouchi, op 3,9 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park en 11 km van skigebied Ryuoo Ski Park, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi en gratis... I wish I spent a lot more nights in this hotel and area. I like everything: the staff, the room, the food, and the onsen. The kaiseki-style dinner was the best. The staff never stopped smiling and was so lovely. The view from our room (406) was stunning. They have a service to pick up and drop us off at the Yudanaka Station and also a one-way drop to the Snow Monkey Park. The indoor onsen is too hot for me, but the outdoor onsen is just perfect! and It was almost empty, feel like I had a private onsen even though the hotel is pretty busy. Onsen while watching snowdrops is a one-of-a-kind experience.

Everything! Felt very traditional, nice room, give you key for free Onsen. Perfect location for 2 days trip to Snow Monkey park!!

Hotel Yudanaka ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen van het station Yudanaka in Yamanouchi en biedt natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen, gratis WiFi en parkeergelegenheid. I loved my stay at Hotel Yudanaka. Upon arrival, I paid an extra 600 yen for the onsen fee (150 per person), but that's hardly anything. That doesn't even equate to $4 USD. I visited the on-site onsen with my daughter for about 3 hours every night. It's seperated by gender, and you have to be nude (not a problem for me, but just so others are aware if that makes them uncomfortable). The onsen had 4 different temperature pools ranging from mild to scalding hot, an ice bath, plus a sauna. I love to pamper myself and have spa-type experiences, so the onsen was just heaven. The showers were stocked with full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The beds were mats on the floor, but they were comfortable. There's also a heater in the room, which was nice to use because it was snowing during our stay. The hotel is a 4 minute walk from the Yudanaka station.
