Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. It also offers water sport facilities and has close proximity to the Galle Fort and Blue Whale watching hubs. The resort also offers a garden with outdoor furniture, a minibar, bathtubs and ironing facilities. This hotel made our trip. If I could afford it I'd just stay there for the whole 10 days we spent on the coast. It's perfect for beginner surfers as it's right on the Weligama beach. We had a free room upgrade from Ocean View to Ocean Vista and we were so grateful to be pampered. I wish we had tried the Big Fish restaurant, it looked fantastic but we had reservations with friends outside the hotel. The service was exceptional and I'd recommend 100% to anyone looking for a stay in Weligamma.

Thomas and his staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is right on the main road, but the ocean waves drown out the traffic noise. Each room faces the ocean with a balcony to enjoy views. Beach loungers are a perfect place to spend your day. Talalla beach is a special place, not overdeveloped. Great mix of locals and tourists. The far right side of the beach has calm water for swimming. Thomas is not only a welcoming host, he is an excellent cook. Do not miss enjoying his delightful dinners. We only stayed 1 night, and wish we had stayed far longer.

Located in Mirissa, 60 metres from Mirissa Beach, Thusara Guesthouse offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. There is a restaurant serving Asian cuisine, and free private parking is available. The host was great, very friendly and helpful. I was in the big room with the kitchen which allowed me to make food for myself and save money. It was clean and had lots of light and a fridge. I loved the wildlife around and its very close to a few well rated bars and restaurants and 1mon from the beach. I really enjoyed my stay.

The property is around 29 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, 29 km from Galle Fort and 29 km from Dutch Church Galle. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. I felt so comfortable and at peace at Tinara. My room (double room with balcony) was spacious, with comfortable bed, a table, fridge, well working a/c and fan, strong wifi and FANTASTIC jungle view from the balcony, I absolutely loved it. Tinara is further from the busy street, so there is no traffic noise. It takes 5-10 mins walk to the beach, depends how fast you go. There are little shops nearby to stock up on water, juices, fruits etc. Babi takes extremely good care of her guests. She makes awesome breakfasts (fresh coconus pankaces, omellete, dhal, toasts with jam, fresh mango smootie... I could not eat it all, the breakfasts were huge). I asked her one evening for rice and curry, and she was kind to make it as well, all for good prices. I would absolutely come back and recommend to my friends. Prior to coming to Tinara I spent two nights on beachfront, the place was not very clean and with many flaws (unfunctional a/c etc.)... coming afterwards to Tinara was SUCH a relief, I felt so greateful for finding such a lovely place. 10/10 in all aspects.

The calm , serene atmosphere The staff were really kind and Polite Notable mention to Sambath , Chamara and ofcourse Gaya . He took care of us really well . Food was served with Love . And when we checked in they saw my wife's birthdate on the passport and arranged a birthday cake even when it was late and accompanied by a gift . That was really a surprise and damn sweet . It's really rejuvenating to have stayed here . it's a gem .

Also I had dinner in their restaurant in the evening, everything was delicious. the hotel is 5 minutes walk from Coconut Tree Hill . The girl at the reception was very nice and polite.I liked everything, I recommend
