We loved our stay here, the room is very comfortable and the balcony overlooking the trees was a nice place to relax. The kids enjoyed the warm pool. We also took the safari from the hotel and it was a very nice experience. The host is very welcoming and attentive to details. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka here and the buffet dinner is very very good.

Whether I was enjoying a cup of tea on the balcony or unwinding in the lounge area, every moment felt calm and rejuvenating. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always respectful of the peaceful environment. It's clear that the hotel prioritizes the comfort and tranquility of its guests. Die Unterkunft splendid lake view safari lodge verfügt über einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, eine Terrasse und ein Restaurant in Udawalawe. Charming place and owners. The lake offers a lovely vista and ambience. The owners themselves were very attentive without becoming overbearing. They let us use the canoe, showed us how to collect fishing nets from the lake and made one of the best meals we had during our trip. We also booked a safari with the owner, that we can definitely recommend. He was very respectful of the animals and kept away from larger crowds. Overall a great experience.

Das Green View Safari Resort liegt 8 km vom Nationalpark Udawalawe entfernt und bietet einen Grill sowie Gartenblick. The couple that run the resort were lovely and helped us out with everything we needed, including getting laundry done. We booked a 4 hour safari morning tour with them and it was amazing! The guide spoke English really well and took us to the parts of the park that didn’t have as many other jeeps around for quiet time with the beautiful elephants. We had dinner and breakfast at the property, it was very tasty and good price! Our room looked out into the jungle and was so peaceful.

We had a very nice stay at this tree house. The owners were kind and welcoming, and they prepared good food for us. The house was clean, comfortable, and gave us a real chance to experience nature—we enjoyed watching animals from the balcony. They also organized a well-arranged safari with Janith, which was a great experience. We saw a lot of wildlife. Janith was an excellent driver and guide—he was very skilled at spotting animals and made sure we had the best possible sightings.

Rooms, the pool and the area is clean. No problem with that. No rats as it was mentioned in google reviews. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with some flies which didn't bother at all. Big area which is lightened and you can have a romantic walk. You have a very close connection to nature here. You can it on the spot - good restaurant with pretty big menu, tasty food and veeeery reasonable prices! Perfect stay, we'll definitely come back! Greetings from Latvia!

Spread across 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Kalu’s Hideaway Udawalawe is a perfect spot for a relaxed family getaway. Super Anlage mit schönem Pool und gepflegter Gartenanlage. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr sauberes und schönes Zimmer. Wir wurden sehr gut versorgt und fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Sehr gute Lage für eine tolle Safari. Empfehlenswert.
