Nestled in the heart of Kota Kinabalu City, Hilton Kota Kinabalu boasts four dining options, a cocktail bar and an outdoor rooftop pool with a bird’s eye view of the city and harbor. A stunning hotel, the pool, gym and sauna are modern and spotless. Our room was upgraded and was spacious and maintained beautifully. We loved the waterfall shower and huge bed. We got room service and didn’t expect much but the vegan burger was hot and so tasty. Just the luxury we needed after climbing Mount Kinabalu!

Everything was so personalised and beautiful. Even a special chocolate cake was left for a little birthday boy! I was gluten free and the chef Philip and Edward was so incredibly accommodating. Andrew was also a very kind member of staff and my kids adored him!

Kokol Haven Resort biedt 3-sterrenaccommodatie in Kota Kinabalu, op 15 km van de Filipino Market Sabah en op 11 km van de Likas City Moskee. I liked the amazing view of the sunset, mountains, garden, and the early check-in. All the staff were friendly; what I liked most was that the manager was humble enough to talk to guests—asking how they could improve, offering what I needed, and even going beyond that by taking a picture of me, as I am a solo traveler. 😀 Moreover, I took a jungle trek, and it was a good experience—a replacement for the gym, a chance to enjoy nature and hike. I liked the food (you can only rely on their restaurant because I think there are none nearby). The Wi-Fi is a bit intermittent but able to manage work calls. The room is spacious. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, you can come here for a retreat experience. It would not be called Haven for no reason!🥰
