Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker!
The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

Very clean and comfortable with a lovely garden. The sauna was great and the beds are very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s a nice walk into town and great location

Amazing location and wellness facilities. King bed very comfortable and large spacious bathroom. Beautiful views. We got a free upgrade which was most appreciated and enjoyed.

Very customer focussed staff (this is rare in the Netherlands). Rooms were lovely -Westcord has done really well to modernise an old building. Food in the restaurant was fabulous.
