Yamba Traditional Home is set in the Patan district of Pātan, 5.2 km from Hanuman Dhoka, 5.8 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square and 7.4 km from Pashupatinath. It is situated 400 metres from Patan Durbar Square and provides luggage storage space. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. It’s a traditional family house, so u can experience how local house looks like, the owner has studied in Netherlands before so he is also open minded and kind person, very nice experience

The location was central and it still felt you weren’t in the middle of the city. Nice little getaway. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

As always, my stay at Kasthamandap was wonderful. I plan to return again next time I'm in Nepal and would recommend to all Nepal travelers!

For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. We are a couple from Turkey and stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel during our trip to Nepal, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, smiling and willing to help with anything we needed, from airport pickup to recommending nice restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a higher floor room, and the view over the city and the mountains in the distance was beautiful. The location is ideal, right in Thamel but slightly off the main road, so it is peaceful and quiet at night. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Kathmandu was a perfect destination, and Apsara Boutique Hotel made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend it to our friends visiting Nepal.

Located within 4.4 km of Hanuman Dhoka and 5 km of Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Museum provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kathmandu. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation features full-day security, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. My wife and I stayed at The Museum on the first two days of our ten-day trip to Nepal. This was our first time in Kathmandu, and staying at this place was just the great start we needed before heading towards Pokhara. The property is around 3km from Thamel, near the Office of the President of Nepal, in a quiet area. A bus service can take you to Thamel, but we preferred walking. The hotel is part of a compound with the restaurants Le Sherpa and Yakitori Hokkaido, a cafe, and other shops (wasn't interested as food is my strength!). There is also a Sikkimise restaurant outside the compound. We were happy with our room and the service the hotel provided us. In addition to that, we asked for help to book a bus ticket for Pokhara. Mr. Saroj was more than helpful and got us the ticket. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

The hotel only has a small amount of rooms, which makes the place tranquil and cozy. A great place to rest up during your stay in this busy and chaotic city. We had a lovely stay and we can't recommend them enough.
