The hosts are super nice and welcoming, they have a beautiful garden which we enjoyed in the morning. The european breakfast with homemade jams was delicious, and the night spa was surprising. We slept in a cabin room, which was small but we expected it from the images. It was clean and cosy. We highly reccommand it!

We stayed in room 5 - this was so spacious with 2 beds, dining table and full longe. The best part was the large glass sliding doors leading out to a private deck overlooking a lovely garden and play area. Very relaxing spot for to have a drink and read a book. Friendly staff. Washing machine and dryer available for guests. Kitchen facilities to cook if needed.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. It offers two Studio Rooms with En Suite within the Historical House and two Self Contained Cottages. This great little cottage had everything we needed. There was also 2 beautiful outdoor spaces with lovely gardens. Very quick walk to town and beach with grassy dunes. One of the cleanest and best stocked accommodations we’ve stayed in in New Zealand.
