Really spacious place - separate seating area with a sofa, as well as a balcony out the back.
Separate kitchen area from the main room.
Great location - short walk into town.

This was such a unique spot to stay. The hosts were so lovely and friendly, I felt like I was staying with family. It was a good spot to base myself while exploring Farewell Spit and Wharariki. I really appreciated the hot spa and sauna after my activities during the day. Breakfast was lovely, and I appreciated the company of their two very friendly cats. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The woman checking us in was so lovely, had great advice, and was super patient with us when we had to sort of some extra things. Plus, she stopped for a lovely chat to check that we were happy with our stay. She also called us very quickly after we checked out to let us know we had left some things behind. A wonderfully appointed studio room with a wealth of options for cooking a meal. A comfortable sofa for watching TV or just relaxing and a comfortable bed with good reading lights and a dining table. Great communication from the host. Lovely big bath towels and a great shower. Pretty garden view.

We ate at the restaurant at night time and the food was delicious, good and efficient service.
