This property sits in the middle of the vineyards. All within easy reach by car or taxi. It was tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed the fantastic views with sundowners each evening sitting outside the cottage. The smell of the lavender added to the mood. Afterwards we lit the stove inside. Jason came with more logs and kindling in case we ran out. At a reasonable extra cost we ordered a charcuterie platter one evening. It was generous in size and delicious. Fresh eggs from their own hens were provided in the cottage along with milk, bread, butter/jam/marmalade. On leaving we needed a large taxi for all our luggage for the airport which Jason organised for us the night before we left.

Set overlooking Picton Harbour, Beachcomber Inn Picton offers an outdoor pool, free parking and free WiFi. It is 800 metres from Picton Ferry Terminal and 400 metres from the Picton Train Station. We had a nice clean room on the ground floor with comfortable beds, able to accommodate four people in one room in our case. Beautiful view of the harbour. Also a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal so very well situated for our one night stay after taking the ferry over from the North island.

Location: easy walking distance to local shops, cafes, and the ferry terminals. It says it in the name, great "Harbour View". Free onsite and safe street parking. Quiet. Comfortable bed. I enjoyed the best sleep I've had in weeks. Well appointed. It had everything you need (and more)... I could have well stayed longer.

Situated on a hillside in central Picton, Broadway Motel is a 7-minute walk from the InterIslander Ferry Terminal. Picton Railway Station, shops, cafés and bars are all less than 500 metres away. Great location for walking into town. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
