Varberg Fortress is 3.2 km away. Fabulous location right beside the beach, staff were super friendly and house was clean and had everything we needed.

This B&B is located in a historical fortress in Varberg. The accommodation is set in what once was a bakery, hospital and prison. The fortress faces the North Sea and the property features both regular rooms and converted cell rooms. Amazing accommodation in a beautiful location. Extremely nice people. Exceptional (in a good way) interior (earplugs advised as it echoes in the prison building).

It is a 3 star hotel which is far better to stay at than some 5 stars. They even have hair conditioner.
