We had a room with a beautiful view of the sea. There are armchairs on the balcony where you can spend evenings enjoying the surrounding silence. There is a lot of well-kept greenery around and birds sing beautifully in the morning. The staff deserves the highest respect and praise. Always helpful, always interested, smiling. When we caught fish on a fishing trip, they prepared them Thai style and they were fantastic. You can rent a scooter on site for 200 baht per day, which makes it very easy to communicate with the center of Lamai or explore the island. Kayaks and equipment can be rented on site, included in the price of your stay. The site is on the beach, which is shallow and tidal. This means that sometimes there is no water for swimming. This is interesting in itself. However, this is compensated by the swimming pool right on the beach and the restaurant. Palm Coco Mantra is really worth recommending if you are looking for rest and want to feel taken care of.

Baan Bophut Beach Hotel is located directly on the beachfront and within Fisherman's Village in Ko Samui. The location on a lovely beach was great. We were in the middle of Fishermen's Village, which was great. Lots of places to walk and visit. It felt very safe. Great restaurants and massage options.
