The waterfront views from our room were stunning — we could see surfers riding waves and boats gliding across the sea just yards away. This 3-star bed and breakfast offers private entrance. We had the pleasure of meeting Ricky and his family. Ricky and Irina are born hosts, with the right touch of humor. Breakfast was a real treat every day. Ricky is a very good chef. We were also able to benefit from the best insider tips. This enabled us to explore Kona perfectly. Our time with Ricky was great. Should we return to Kona, we will definitely book the Hale Hualalai and maybe have a drum session with Ricky :)

Extras include an outdoor seating area, bed linen and a fan. View of Pacific Ocean from upper deck is gorgeous.　Feeling like waking up at a farm with cows and pigs roaming in the morning. Breakfast at the upper deck including fresh fruits and juice was just nice to kick start the day.

Loved the private beach, facilities (sunscreen, waters, towels) Spa was incredible - best massage. However, these were not in the huts as pictured and requested and as a special occasion I was dissapointed. We did the snorkel canoe tour - ended up being just us - amazing guides super friendly

Beautifully designed resort. Amazing location with great views all around. Great beds and huge bathroom with double sinks. All food in resort great but dinners at Alaia restaurant top notch. Sashimi so fresh and amazing, pasta, pork, salads all Michelin quality in our eyes.
