Nur 100 m von der historischen Altstadt von Colonia entfernt begrüßt Sie diese Unterkunft mit einem Außenpool und mit Zimmern mit einer iPod-Dockingstation. Dieses herrliche, ruhige Städtchen und vor allem das hübsche und super toll gelegene Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal haben auf den Gast eine sehr "entschleunigende und beruhigende" Wirkung. Bequeme Betten, alles sehr sauber und absolut ruhig, habe nur die verschiedenen Vögel zwitschern und dazwischen den Kuckuck rufen gehört. Es stimmt einfach alles von speditivem einchecken via QR Code, schön dekorierte Lobby, Räume und Zimmer, netter Garten mit Liegen und Pool. Sehr feines Frühstücksbuffet (feine Brote und Croissants) mit sehr netter Bedienung. Es stehen 24 Std Zitronen-Wasser zur freien Verfügung und ebenso darf man von 2 verschiedenen Likören probieren. Parkplätze vor dem Hotel auf der Strasse verfügbar, nur ca 10 Min zu Fuss zum Bus-Bahnhof (Busse nach Montevideo) oder zum Hafen (Fähre nach Buenos Aires). Guter Ausgangspunkt um die historische Altstadt zu besichtigen, man ist eigentlich schon mittendrin, das Stadttor + Tourist Info ist ca 200 m entfernt, in der Umgebung alle Arten von Bars, Cafés, Restaurants, Geschäfte etc. Sehr zu empfehlen, habe gleich für die Rückreise in 3 Wochen wieder 3 Nächte hier gebucht.

Alltogether, it creates a family stay feeling, in the middle of the historical area. Very good breakfast, with fresh fruits, pastries, etc. There are also toys for small kids, available to borrow.

Situated in Colonia del Sacramento, Posada de la flor at the start of the historical district, offers free bikes, terrace and free WiFi. It’s located in a very well preserved colonial building, with a vintage air which makes it very cosy as well, room was perfect for us 4 (2 adults one 5 and 1 yeast old kids), big beds, big bath and a window facing the interior “garden” (think it’s the only room with one), Terrace (on the roof) is cute as well.
