The tent was a very special accomodation - very comfy and amazing sounds of nature to fall asleep to. Special bonus: White rhinos visited us for breakfast.

The staff was so warm and friendly, I loved the the hotel offered game drives. The breakfast was honestly so yummy and tasty. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and a food platter since we were celebrating my husbands birthday.

A short drive from Durban, Gooderson Bushlands Game Lodge borders many acres of national park and is surrounded by picturesque African bush.

The lodge rooms at Gooderson Bushlands Game Lodge are connected with the bar and pool via wooden walkways. They feature air conditioning and a bathroom with shower. The chalets have catering facilities. We did not eat there we booked at the self-catering chalets. We would have loved to have breakfast but find R185 pp is a bit expensive. We did have a drink at the bar witch we loved as the bar lady was on the ball and so help full and friendly and to top it off, she brought us a bowl of popcorn, what a nice gesture. The property is like a little place in heaven rest for the soul. Will definitely be back, and the birding is fantastic.
