The tastefully decorated chalets are fully equipped and some of them offer views. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The property felt like being at camp back home in Canada. The cabin was very clean and well equipped with cooking supplies. We utilized the Brai twice which was great because restaurants were limited in the area. The walking trails through out the property was wonderful for evening walks. Zur Alten Mine is nicely located to check out the panorama route and other activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious with great homemade baking and jams. The host was also friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and driving routes to take. Very well ran business.

The close-up experience with the animals was unforgettable, and the level of hospitality from Basil and Riette was incredible. The lodge facilities are superb, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the terrace was the perfect spot to unwind after a safari—especially with visits from various animals. Truly a magical experience. We’d especially like to highlight the warm hospitality of Basil and Riette, who made us feel so welcome and at home in Kruger. Thank you for everything! Free private parking is available on site. The furniture is a plus! Nice and unique decoration with victorian style. The staff was proactive to book a table for my family in the nicest restaurant of the city (which was overbooked at that night). The stay was also very quiet - perfect for a good and relaxing sleep. I’d definitely recommend this acommodation!

The cabin was right by the main house, but felt private and secluded. It was tastefully decorated and well-stocked with amenities, including homemade cookies and an indoor/outdoor shower. Each morning, we found different animals venturing through the property: monkeys, warthogs, kudu, and guinea fowl. The lodge staff were warm and hospitable and helped us organize fun outings to visit Kruger and the Panorama Route and explore the neighboring wildlife reserve, where we saw giraffe, zebra, impala, waterbuck, and lots of birds. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodge each day -- and the meals were fantastic. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend it!
