The hotel rate does not include meals, but this morning they served a small breakfast with freshly baked, delicious bread. The room was comfortable and offered a nice view of the seaside and Enoshima Island. Parking outside the hotel was very convenient, and there’s a Family Mart within walking distance.

Hosts were very friendly and speak a little bit of English. Elevator is a big plus when traveling with luggage. Room was cozy, well-lit and larger than expected, the futons are awesome. There's only three rooms on each floor so sharing the bathroom was not an issue.

We were two family of 4, there was more than enough space and amenities were great, quiet location but walking distance to beach, sites and close to local tram. Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one!

Fantastic place if you want to experience traditional Japanese ryokan, a bit vintage, but this just adds to the place’s particular atmosphere. The location is amazing - you get to experience Enoshima after the tourist crowds have left. The view of Fuji-San from your room against setting sun was a cherry on the cake! Impeccable service and we also enjoyed the big outside pool very much - even more so as we visited during summer heatwave…

The size of a room was huuuuge! Like, 24 tatami's or so. A view was amazing, and a place to enjoy it was amazing.

Situated just a 3-minute walk from popular Enoshima Beach, Kakiya Ryokan is Japanese-style accommodation attached to a historic restaurant specialising in Shirasu fish meals.

Good price and quality ratio for experiencing japan style hotel. Even though reseptionist did not speak english there was no problem whith comunication as she used google translate to explain. They had separate private bath that could be reserved the same day and it was included in price. Also welcoming tea was really good.

Amazingly beautiful property, super friendly staff with a great sense of humour. Attention to detail is as you’d expect for Japan. Both the dinner and the breakfast were absolutely delicious.
