Perfect place. Close to yamanote line and veeery clean. We had our own bathroom and they provided kimonos for the night which where very comfy. It was raining hard when we arrived and they even offered to dry our shoes. Would definitely come back.

It is a place to start if you come to Japan and Tokyo first time in life (as we did). And I think you will come back to this hotel quarter (as there is more than one hotel) again and again. As we wanted to feel japanese style the Hanakohro was the best choice in Grand Prince we could make. Everything was superb - but above all - the people (staff is not good enough word for them) working in Hanakohro make our stay exceptional.

Lovely ryokan in a great area of Tokyo. Warm-hearted welcome and lovely people. Delicious Japanese breakfast. Extremely comfortable beds! If you are looking for a Japanese style accommodation (ryokan with futon beds and tatami floored room) in Tokyo, Ito Ryokan is perfect!

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station.

Our stay at Edo Sakura was absolutely delightful. The staff were universally warm and welcoming, fussing over our daughter and doing everything possible to make our stay pleasant. We adored our ryokan-style room, the traditional breakfast options each morning, and the on-site "onsen" for a soak after a long day. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for a pair of futons, our luggage, and an area for our daughter to play. While not especially interesting, the surrounding neighbourhood has plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. It is also a short walk from Iriya Street Station. From the location, you can also walk to Ueno Park and Asakusa.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

The whole experience of the Ryokan and the service provided by the staff. Location was the best for the tour of the city, access to metro, to restaurants and nightlife.

Really close to Ueno and Asakusa around 20 minute walk in a straight line, all flat land so easy to walk. Room was really cute and spacious for 3 girls that love to shop :) the Cafe downstairs that under the same company? workers are helpful and kind, even though they aren't the hotel workers. Family mart, 7Eleven, Ministop around 5 minutes walk away. Roads are quiet and not busy at all, roads are wide enough to easily call uber too. Donki 20 mins walk away or a less than 5 minute drive thats open 24/7 was helpful for an emergency 3am shop. seperate rooms allowed us to have our own space but also come together for takeouts and hangouts in living room/dining table. We had 10 suitcases and there was more than enough space

We had such a great time staying at "Sougyo no Yado South Wing." The room was spacious and clean, with simple yet warm decor that made us feel relaxed the moment we walked in. The location was incredibly quiet, and the surroundings were beautiful—a perfect place to unwind. The area is really peaceful, with lovely scenery, and there’s no noise from the city. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a kitchen, bathroom, and washing machine, making it super convenient—especially for those who want to cook or stay long-term. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep every night. The host was very kind and sent us detailed information before our arrival, so we had no worries about checking in, which felt very thoughtful. Plus, the view outside the room was lovely, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The host was friendly and provided lots of helpful information. Whether for a short or long stay, it’s perfect. We’ll definitely choose "Sougyo no Yado South Wing" again next time!

The host waited for us to check in late night. She also very kind to help us moved the luggage. House is well equipped (washing machine, dryer, water heater etc). Rooms are spacious, shower room available on each floor, and it is suitable for big family.

Everything about this place is great. My brother and I was check in by a very nice grandpa who speak very good English. The room was great and there is everything you need. The best part of all is the big bath on the 6 floor. OMG 😳 super cool and of cause I went up there every day. We like it so much we stayed for another night.
