I did not realize when booking this was closer to a traditional ryoken than hotel room. It was an unexpected joy! The onsen was wonderful and the room was so interesting. I'm thrilled we got to have this experience staying here. We ate at the sitting table, set up our beds, and walked on the traditional flooring. Again absolutely unexpected and wonderful! And the room was huge which was great for four people.

Everything’s top notch and beautiful. The food is great, the location couldn’t be better, right next to a bus stop by the river, with views to the central alps and the woods. The staff is so polite and helpful. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.
