It is a small cosy hotel - really special and quiet after busy days spent in Kyoto. Our room was simply perfect - 2nd floor corner room with a huge balcony and windows overlooking the bridge and bay. Our children were next door in a smaller but equally lovely space. The staff were completely sweet and helpful. I wish we could have spent another night! 🙏🏼

We really loved the hotel stay - being greeted with the magnificent view of the sky, mountains and river when we entered the room, and we loved the peace and quiet of the location away from the main Kinosaki Onsen street. This did not pose any issue to us because of the free to-and-fro shuttle service that the hotel provided, which made it very convenient. We really enjoyed wearing the kimonos that were lent to us (and all other hotel guests), as we could wear them to explore the streets of Kinasaki-onsen. It was our first time, and the staff were really gracious in helping us wear the kimonos properly. The generosity of the hotel was evident through the complimentary yakults and we enjoyed the private Onsen and snacks/drinks that we could purchase with ease anytime. The breakfast view was fantastic too! We felt safe, at home and welcome - i.e. they made an effort to welcome us and bid farewell to us, which we appreciated too. It was truly a 5-star experience!

This ryokan offers traditional charm and comfort. Wake up to stunning sea views from the window and unwind in open-air onsen with panoramic vistas. Plus another big onsen resides by the hill. Whether seeking relaxation or romance, this ryokan combines sea, nature, and Japanese hospitality for an unforgettable getaway. What I like most is the incredible traditional Japanese breakfast, with one of the most tasty genmai tea I'v ever tasted.

Multi-course superb japanese breakfast, traditional experience, eat while viewing the most beautiful, relaxing ocean scenary. The onsen is wonderful, open till 11pm. The village itself is quite remote, dont expect a buzzling tourist hub. Situated on the ocean scenic parkway route 178, gorgeous!
