The private onsen was very nice. Hotel had good facilities like foot spa with a great view of Mt Aso. Dinner and breakfast was great and staff were friendly and able to speak english.

Top notch facilities and service, staff go out of the way to make the stay pleasant. Very nice view of mountain from my room and also the public onsen. I also left my phone behind at the property and the staff helped to express courier it to my next destination. Very impressed by their service level.

Outstanding food both for breakfast and dinner - some of the best we had while in Japan with many local specialties. The private onsen were comfortable and very nice. Location is great if you're in a car and it's easy to explore the nearby Aso-Kuju National Park from there.

Nice hotel at the foothills of Mt. Aso. It is clean, staff is kind and attentive. We asked them if we can leave the luggage at the hotel before the check-in time and they stored it for us and brought to the room. We appreciate that we got a Japanese style room which was very nice and comfortable. The onsen and sauna were great. Excellent breakfast and dinner, a lot of choices.
