Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven mat) floor and shoji sliding paper screens. Some rooms offer tranquil views of the Seto Inland Sea. They are fitted with an LCD TV, a mini-fridge and traditional futon beds. An en suite bathroom and yukata robes are provided. Fantastic experience! Really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room nice with a view. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Nice Onsen.

Besides amazing nature views, comfortable rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Yukata robes and green tea are provided. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. Amazing ryokan with a stunning view. We could see the gate and the temple from both our room and during dinner/breakfast. The rooms are nice, big, and cozy. The meals are just incredible. We were really full after the dinner (about 10 courses). The staff was kind and helpful. They were able to prepare vegan meals for one of us. Also, they brought our luggage directly to the ferry station (they also have a pick-up service, if needed). The private onsen is amazing. I hope to come back one day!

Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Entertainment options include cable channels and a DVD player. Certain rooms include an en suite bathroom. Toiletries and slippers are provided for in the private and shared bathroom. This really is the quintessential Japanese Ryokan experience. You get a yukata when you arrive and you're free to walk around the hotel or even outside with it. I highly recommend bathing in the hot springs; I hiked to the top of Mount Misen in the day, and relaxing the sore muscles in the hot spring in the evening really was divine! Dinner was amazing; absolutely delicious and you could tell how much passion they put into creating it.

The units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. Staying at the Kinsuikan was a magical time. Being in the middle of everything, getting the traditional experience as well as able to use the onsen.

The 3-star ryokan has garden views and is 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The ryokan features family rooms. The staff helped us dry our shoes after we got rained on during our first day of biking. They were very friendly and went above and beyond to help us.

The spacious ryokan is equipped with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and 1 bathroom with a bidet, slippers and a washing machine. The ryokan offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. We had this traditional house all to our selves. Despite it’s traditional look it had all the modern amenities one needs. It was clean and perfectly presented. The host was very accommodating and helped us with directions and activity suggestions. The island is magical and the house is a short walk from the center.

Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Japanese-style hotel Mizuhasou specialises in fresh seafood and exquisitely prepared local seasonal dishes. Meals are served at the dining room. Beautiful ryokan-style guesthouse, 15 mins walk from the ferry terminal so slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist area near the terminal. Incredible traditional Japanese breakfast and lovely shared bathroom with huge bath tub! Very close to beautiful white-sand beach!
