Mr Hatchi and his staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. They also did an amazing job at providing me with full vegetarian meals for breakfast and dinner, I was so Impressed by the quality (and quantity!! I didn’t miss out on anything being a veggie). The rooms are a good size and ours had a lovely seating area with a view over the Main Street. The 2 baths in the property were amazing and you could use them privately in the afternoon/evening (great for me as I was too shy to go to the public ones!). The tea ceremony was lovely when we arrived and I was helped into my Kimono. The location is fantastic and Mr Hatchi even helped us with luggage on departure. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The ryokan is charming and simple, and the location is good.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 700 metres from North Disaster Earthquake Monument. The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.6 km from Kinumaki Shrine. My stay was fantastic - the hosts offered to pick me up from the train station, and also drove me to and from the town centre when I wanted to visit the local onsen. I spent the evening getting to know the hosts and the other travellers around the fireplace. The share room was really comfortable as well. Thank you !

The air-conditioned accommodation is 43 km from Miki History Museum. Guests can use the hot tub and the public bath, or enjoy mountain views. Outstanding service, all staff were amazing! The room was stunning, offering everything you could possibly need was at your fingertips. Would highly recommend spending the extra for a room with private onsen - it was heavenly.

The traditional Japanese decoration was absolutely beautiful, especially the small veranda overlooking the garden — the morning view was magical. The room was serene and elegant, the futon comfortable and the traditional Japanese food was delicious and refined. Additionally, the hosts, a lovely couple were so kind — it felt like being welcomed into a Japanese family. The whole experience was unforgettable. We were truly delighted. Thank you again!

They were even so nice as to still give us a room tour at that late of an hour, and offered to also fetch us to the train station seeing that we were running close to our train boarding time! The place is immaculate, clean and comfortable! I wish we could've stayed more days. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a place to stay while in Asago! 100/100!!
